The surrounding area

Paguera offers a very varied terrain for cycling tours. The nearby routes through the Tramuntana mountains and along the west coast are ideal for challenging tours. Towards Palma de Mallorca there are rather flat and more comfortable routes to explore.

Hiking and walking in Paguera

Majorca is also a paradise for hikers and Paguera is an excellent starting point for various hiking tours. Enjoy wonderful hikes along the coastal landscapes, through typical Mediterranean pine forests or the mountainous countryside. A short walk with beautiful views leads you from our location at the Hotel Universal Lido Park along the coast through the settlement of Cala Fornells to the watchtower "Torre de Cap Andritxol" where a wonderful view of the sea and the coast awaits you.

Trip to the dragon island Sa Dragonera

Explore the protected island just off the west coast of Mallorca. The small, uninhabited island is home to several, partly rare bird species and the endemic Dragonera lizard. On the existing hiking trails you can discover the island with many wonderful views. Sa Dragonera can be reached by boat from Paguera, Port d'Andratx and Sant Elm. Important: When you visit, remember to bring enough food, drinks and sun cream. 

City trip to Palma de Mallorca

Take a trip to Palma de Mallorca, the sophisticated capital of the Balearic Islands. Visit the numerous sights of the old town, for example the cathedral "La Seu", Palma's landmark, or the time-honored main square "Plaça Major". Palma de Mallorca is also a great place for shopping. Well-known brand stores, original boutiques and authentic craft stores compete for the attention of visitors on all sides. Treat yourself to a coffee or a snack in one of the many cafés and restaurants. From Paguera you can easily reach Palma de Mallorca by bus.
