Equipment of rental bicycles - carbon, aluminum and sports bicycles

The rental costs include the following additional rental services: speedometer, pump, pedals (SPD-SL, SPD-MTB, Look Keo, flat pedals), saddle bag with spare inner tube, two tyre levers, final cleaning. 

The previously obligatory service fee is replaced by the free service offer.

E-Bicycles

The rental price includes the following equipment/rental services: Driving assistant, keys, battery, charger, hose bag with spare hose, two tire levers and pump or breakdown spray, wheel cleaning.

The bike willa be returned with complete equipment according to the general rental conditions. In case of loss of e.g. speedometer or pump the prices according to the price list in the rental or in the FAQ are valid.

Body/frame size

The frame size is not an objective scale and varies according to manufacturer and geometry. Therefore we ask for the body height in cm for the bike disposition at the reservation. When you take over the bike, we will also measure your stride length and adjust your bike accordingly. Your personal values are stored on your guest card. Take this with you every time you rent a bike.

Pedal systems

We have the following pedal systems: SPD-MTB, SPD-SL, Look Keo, flat pedals. The pedals are free of charge and don't have to be reserved in advance. If you'd like to ride your own pedals, feel free to bring those  with you. 

Saddles

Our bikes are equipped with the following saddles: Fizik Aliante Delta, lady saddle.

Bottle holder

All wheels are equipped with two bottle holders. Except sports bikes/E-bikes only one bottle cage.

Rental helmets

We also rent helmets at € 4 per day, maximum € 15 per week for long-term rentals.

Bicylce rental

It is important to bring an identity card or passport with you.

Day rental

Bicycles can also be rented on site for 1, 2 or 3 days – always subject to availability. A reservation in advance is not possible.

Returns

When returning the bicycle, please take the guest card or the receipt with you.

Returning the bicycle to another cycling station

Only possible after prior consultation/written confirmation. Fee € 15.

Reservation

Important! Please reserve your bicycle at one place only. You will immediately receive a confirmation by e-mail.
Rental bicycle reservations can be made either as part of a Huerzeler package tour with 20% price advantage or as "Rental bicycle reservation only" via our online reservation system. We cannot accept reservations by phone or email.

Rental conditions

A rental contract is concluded when you take over your bicycle. With our package deals the rental contract is part of the booking.

Term of lease

The minimum rental period is 1 week, whereby the weekly price applies from 4 rental days.

Reservation and Payment

When you book a package deal through us, the reservation of your rental bike is made automatically and is included in the total price. Your exclusive price advantage: 20% off the bicycle rental.

If you book a bike individually, payment will be made at the regular prices on site, by credit card or in cash in Euro. A reservation is mandatory: Rerserve bicycle

Exclusion of liability ("insurance")

The liability is voluntary, but recommended to be on the safe side.

Services

Protection against liability claims of the lessor in case of damage to the bike due to fall or accident.
