Definition

A travel package consists of basic services booked as a package. Additional services can be booked as an option. Travel packages are e.g. cycling holidays at our destinations in Spain or Greece, as well as our worldwide cycling tours.

Insurance within the framework of travel package law or consumer protection

  • We guarantee the usual replacements and/or refunds in the event of non-fulfilment/changes to booked services in accordance with travel package law, which does not apply when booking individual services.
  • Our customer money protection with the guarantee fund of the Swiss travel industry and the insolvency protection according to German travel packge law ("Pauchalreisegesetz") is our guests (regardless of country of origin) money-back guarantee in the event of insolvency.

Package guests with private or 3rd-party bicycles can optionally booke the Added Value for €/CHF 30.

Service offer

We offer the following services free of
charge to all our guests

Service on site

  • Use of the Huerzeler infrastructure in hotels and cycling stations
  • Storage of the rental or private/3rd-party  bicycles in the bicycle cellars incl. lock (deposit), for guests at our cycling hotels. Fee for guests without Huerzeler travel package or Huerzeler rental bicylce: € 5.- per day. We accept no liability for private bicycles or bicycles rented from third parties in the event of loss or theft from the bicycle storage facilities. Private theft insurance is recommended.
  • Drinking water at most of our cycling hotels
  • Pump, tools, washing area at most of our cycling stations/hotels
  • Saddle bag with tube and tyre lever
  • Use of the workshop service (for Huerzeler rental bicycles)
  • Info package about cycling on site (info board, app)
  • Guest card with discount in our boutiques
