Whether it’s the legendary climb up the Coll de Rates, the spectacular coastal roads towards Altea or challenging mountain rides into the hinterland, Calpe has everything that makes road cycling so rewarding: excellent roads, beautiful scenery, authentic villages and plenty of opportunities for café stops with sea views. Thanks to its exceptionally mild microclimate, the region is an ideal base for training rides from early in the year.
